On the evening of 18 December 2025, the courtyard at Ammachirak was filled with lamps, music and people. The Christmas Carol 2025 celebration was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by carols led by the choir and the parish youth.
Our mothers sat at the front, wrapped in shawls, singing along to the carols they have known all their lives. Families from the neighbourhood joined in, and the evening ended with sweets and Christmas greetings shared all round.
We are grateful to everyone who came, sang and gave. Celebration is care too — and evenings like this are among the happiest in the calendar of this home.
