Before You Give

Good things to know

Ammachirak is a care home for women — particularly elderly mothers who have been isolated from their families or have no home of their own. Our doors are open to every deserving woman, irrespective of caste, cultural background, religion or name. Please call the Director to discuss an admission.

The home is run on the support of the Church, well-wishers and donors. Families who are able to contribute towards the cost of care are welcome to do so, but no deserving woman is turned away for want of means.

Yes — visitors are very welcome, and our mothers look forward to company. Please call ahead so we can receive you properly. Visiting hours are generally 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You can transfer directly to our Federal Bank account or scan our UPI QR code — both are listed on the Donate page. After transferring, please send us the details so that we can acknowledge your gift.
